Charlie's Kids Fest & Bubba's Youth Day

Free Family Fun Day at UWL
Part of the UWL Spotlight Series: Bringing campus and community together.

Join us on Saturday, December 12, for a full day of free family fun!

The day begins at 12 p.m. with Charlie's Kids Fest, a free children's festival featuring inflatables, activity stations, and interactive sports-themed games led by UWL student-athletes.  Youth in 8th grade and younger accompanied by an adult are welcome to attend.  Registration required.

Then head to Mitchell Hall Gymnasium for Bubba's Youth Day as the UWL Women's Basketball Team takes on Dubuque. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Bubba's Youth Day honors the memory of Charlie "Bubba" Lonning Weber while celebrating children and encouraging youth participation in sports. The event also provides an opportunity for families in the La Crosse community who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss to come together and remember their children.

Admission to both Charlie's Kids Fest and the basketball game is free and open to all community members. Enjoy a special day of family activities, community connection, remembrance, and Eagles women's basketball.
