REC FEST

Play. Connect. Win Big.

Kick off Welcome Week at REC Fest!

Head to the Recreational Eagle Center on Monday, September 7, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an action-packed night of games, challenges, and over $1,000 in prizes. Admission is completely free!

Grab an Activity Passport / Bingo Card at the door, explore the facility, and complete events across the building to enter prize drawings throughout the night.

What’s Happening Across the REC:

  • The Lobby (Main Hub & Connections):

    • Pick up your Arrival Stickers and activity cards

    • Connect on the “Find Your People” sign-up boards

    • Visit the Intramural Sports tables to learn about upcoming leagues and officiating

    • Stop by the Outdoor Connection table for exclusive coupons and the OC Challenge

    • Try out your balance on the Slackline

    • Snap a picture at the Step & Repeat station, tag @UWLREC, and grab free merch

  • The MAC (Contests & Main Prize Hub):

    • Compete in the 3-Point Contest, Volleyball Serve Contest, and Disc Golf Putt Contest

    • Turn in your completed passports/bingo cards at the Rec Sports Tent Prize Table

  • Fieldhouse (Sport Clubs & Fitness):

    • Connect with student leaders at the Sport Club tables & activities

    • Test your strength in the Fitness Challenge

    • Talk with instructors and pick up class schedules at the Group Fitness table

    • Play drop-in Yard Games

  • EZONE & Climbing Gym:

    • EZONE: Go head-to-head in the Mario Kart Challenge

    • Climbing Gym: Test your balance and height limits with Crate Stacking
