Japanese calligraphy workshop in the LRC

Discover Japan at UWL!

Learn the history and cultural significance of Japanese calligraphy before getting a hands-on tutorial led by Keiko Morikawa, Japanese Outreach Initiative Coordinator at UW-Stout!

Participants will practice basic brush techniques and create their own calligraphy pieces to take home as keepsakes. One of your finished pieces will also be displayed at the Language Resource Center! 

All materials are provided.

Registration is required and limited to 25 participants.

This is a collaboration with the Language Resource Center, Department of Global Cultures & Languages.
