Your committment is appreciated.
This spring, many instructors across UWL made a meaningful commitment—to their teaching, their students, and their colleagues.
By participating in two of three CATL signature events during Spring 2026—the AI Summit, Assessment Commons, and Mini-Conference—these instructors earned a CATL water bottle. But more importantly, they demonstrated something far more impactful: a dedication to ongoing growth as educators and a willingness to engage in conversations that strengthen our campus community.
Across these events, participants explored emerging questions about teaching with AI, shared approaches to meaningful assessment, and connected with colleagues from across disciplines. These spaces are not just about ideas—they are about relationships, reflection, and the collective work of improving student learning.
CATL wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, participated, and contributed. Your engagement is what makes these events dynamic and valuable. You help create a culture where teaching is not done in isolation, but as a shared, evolving practice.
To those who earned a CATL water bottle this spring—thank you. We hope it serves as a small reminder of the time you invested in yourself and in your teaching, and of the community of educators you are a part of here at UWL.
And to those who have not yet joined us at CATL events, we invite you to be part of this growing community. Whether you attend one session or several, there is always space to learn, reflect, and connect.
We look forward to continuing these conversations—and welcoming even more of you—during the 2026/27 academic year.
