Hourly employees who will work during the Sunday, November 2, 1:00 am - 2:00 am Daylight Savings Time (DST) change and their managers
Hourly (non-exempt) employees who have an in or out time (including meal break punches) between 1:00 am - 2:00 am on Sunday, November 2 may need to have an adjustment made to their shift hours if the punch was made before the time change occurred. Any employees who work a shift that crosses the 1:00 am - 2:00 am time change but do not have an in/out time clock event during that time will have time calculated correctly and do not need to take further action.
These adjustments will be made by the UW Shared Services team. In order to indicate which time blocks need adjustment, the employee or their manager must review the calculated daily total for the time block and make a comment indicating whether adjustments are needed. Please have all adjustment comments added and timesheets approved by the end of the day on Monday, November 3. Adjustments will be processed on Tuesday, November 4 and can be reviewed on Wednesday, November 5 prior to the payroll complete.
