Well Wisconsin

In honor of May being Mental Health Awareness month, Well Wisconsin Radio and Kindness at Work is helping with overall mental health and well-being.

Well-Being Activities

Did you know that you have many options available to help with your overall health and well-being? This handout highlights the following opportunities:

  • Health coaching. Participants can work with a dedicated coach to focus on reducing stress or managing overwhelm and burnout.
  • Daily Habits. A tool available in the Well Wisconsin portal to help participants with things like coping with the blues, keeping stress in check, sleeping well, staying connected with others and combatting loneliness, work life balance and more.

While the Stressless challenge is over, participants can still reap mental health and well-being benefits by participating in upcoming challenges. The Invitational challenge, starting in May, focuses on physical activity, and the Five to Thrive challenge, starting this summer, focuses on nutrition.

Kindness at Work Reminder: Integrity

For the month of May, Random Acts of Kindness encourages everyone to focus on integrity. They say, “Integrity is the foundation of trust and confidence. Doing what you say builds an environment of respect and mutual appreciation.”

Employees who participate in at least 21 kindness, self-compassion or well-being activities from the calendar can complete a short survey to receive an employer-sponsored activity code to count toward their well-being activity incentive credit. Share the Kindness at Work handout and/or print out and distribute these Kindness Cards to spread kindness.

Kindness Quote of the Month: “Choosing courage over comfort; choosing what is right over fast, fun or easy; and choosing to practice our values rather than just professing them.” —Brené Brown
