Fall 2026 PSM Enrollment Now Open!
Are you ready to take your leadership to the next level? The Principles of Supervision and Management (PSM) program is now enrolling for Fall 2026! This professional development opportunity is designed specifically for supervisors across Universities of Wisconsin.
Why Enroll in PSM?
PSM equips you with practical tools to lead high performing and engaged teams. Through a mix of online learning and interactive sessions, you’ll build skills in:
- Giving effective feedback and managing performance
- Communicating with clarity and confidence
- Supporting employee development and growth
- Creating inclusive, collaborative work environments
- You’ll also connect with fellow supervisors across UWs and gain access to valuable resources that support your success.
Who Should Enroll?
This program is ideal for:
- Current supervisors of employees
- Team leads and managers
- Employees preparing to step into a supervisory role
Note: PSM is designed for those who supervise staff or employees; some content may not apply to those supervising only student employees.
Program Details
- Dates: Thursdays, September 17 through December 3, 2026 (no class on November 26)
- Format:
- Class 1: In-person at The Sonnentag Center, UW-Eau Claire, 10:00am - 2:30pm
- Class 2 through Class 11: Online via Zoom, 8:30am - 12:30pm
- Cost: $175 per participant
How to Enroll
Discuss this opportunity with your supervisor for approval and send an email to cjessen@uwlax.edu to enroll. The email should include
- Name of employee attending PSM
- Email from supervisor with approval
- Funding string to be used for the $175 enrollment fee (includes lunch at Class 1)
All enrollments must be submitted by July 30th 2026.
