Murphy Library is once again collaborating with money experts to deliver a Financial Literacy workshop series to UWL students.

In this workshop, students will learn the basics of credit to make smart financial choices for their financial future. Money Matters @ Murphy.

Topics covered in the Fall 2026 financial literacy series of this million-dollar collaboration with It Make$ Cents and the UW Credit Union include Credit, Investing 101, Scholarship Side-Hustle, Holiday Spending Plan, and Managing $ as a Young Professional.

Banned Books Week: Emoji Book Title Challenge

EMOJI BOOK TITLE CHALLENGE

It’s back! The hit quiz game 447 students played at this year’s Eagle Fest returns to Murphy Library for an expanded Banned Books edition!  Students must guess the titles of 20 banned or challenged books using only emojis as clues.  

Winning contestants will receive a Murphy Library blanket or mug (plus bragging rights!).
