Murphy Library has three new library book displays on view to engage readers and promote the thousands of books in our print collection.
September’s outreach displays spotlight titles to welcome Eagles back to UWL, along with colorful Graphic Novels and books on Greek Mythology.
UWL students, faculty, and staff can use their Eagle ID as their official library card to check out books from Murphy Library.

Murphy Library is once again collaborating with money experts to deliver a Financial Literacy workshop series to UWL students.
In this workshop, students will learn the basics of credit to make smart financial choices for their financial future. Money Matters @ Murphy.
Topics covered in the Fall 2026 financial literacy series of this million-dollar collaboration with It Make$ Cents and the UW Credit Union include Credit, Investing 101, Scholarship Side-Hustle, Holiday Spending Plan, and Managing $ as a Young Professional.

Thursday, September 17, is Constitution Day at Murphy Library!
Play Constitution-based trivia games, learn more about upcoming elections, and get the scoop on voter registration.
Explore History-themed print books and learning materials from our vast collection and take home a printed pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution.

PHA POP-UP

A collaboration with the student Peer Health Advocates + Wellness & Health Advocacy.
The Peer Health Advocates are coming to Murphy Library! PHA Pop-Ups are small events designed to make a big impact. These mini wellness activities focus on student well-being without disrupting your busy day. The PHA's demonstrate how to pack a Safe Sex Kit on Tuesday, September 29, in the Center Stage area of Murphy Library.
SODA - Student Org Display Area
Murphy Library’s SODA is a rotating involvement showcase in the main hallway kiosk section of the Murphy Library Resource Center.
As the Student Engagement and Outreach Librarian at UWL, I am excited to collaborate with student leaders from student orgs on this student-showcase project.
Please invite students to contact Information Jason to create a month-long SODA exhibit in September, October, November, or December during the fall 2026 semester.
