Read more about Grant: Floodplain forest habitats UWL Art student Carolyn Myers, center, does a Lambeau Leap after winning the second annual Green Bay Packers student art competition. “My piece was done to honor the transition of the Packers’ stadium, players, uniforms and fans,” she explains. The win brought home $5,000 to the UWL Art Department.

UWL’s Diabetes Prevention Program Posted 3:22 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018 The Diabetes Prevention Program was founded by the Center for Disease Control and is a low-cost, evidence-based program designed to prevent Type 2 diabetes. Read more about UWL’s Diabetes Prevention Program Jean Barkow started what became Jump Rope for Heart about 40 years ago and it eventually spread to schools around the world. Here Barkow is at a ceremony in the original gym where she started the event. It was named in her honor.
