Veterans receive special recognition at commencement Posted 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 UW-L veteran graduate Michael Bahr says he did a lot of growing up in the military. “I realized I didn’t want to settle," he says. "I wanted to be more ambitious and try to achieve greater things in life.” Greater things for Bahr meant earning a four-year degree and finding a career he cared about.
