New planner will replace Student + Staff Directory

The UWL Student+Staff Directory is being discontinued, but a new planner for students and staff will take its place. A contract with the university and About Campus, who published the directory, expired at the end of the 2014-15 academic year. The company did not extend a new contract for a directory, but opted to publish an expanded planner. About Campus has been publishing a planner for students in recent years, but next year’s planner will be expanded to include information previously published in the front section of the Student+Staff Directory. Among the information will be administration, department chair and department/office listings. The new “Eagle Planner” will be distributed free of charge to students and staff around Sept. 1. Staff will receive copies via campus mail. University Communications is coordinating the front section of the book, and will work with distribution. Refer any questions to Brad Quarberg, News & Marketing, 8572. Campus Kudos artwork. Garth Tymeson, Exercise and Sport Science, presented a session "What Every Parent of a Student in Special Education Should Know about Physical Education and IDEA" at the Midwest Region-Parent Technical Assistance Special Education Centers Conference, June 25, in Traverse City, Michigan.
