Each semester this student group, supported by UW-L's Office of Campus Climate, presents stimulating skits and musical numbers to get everyone to think about challenging issues such as racisim, sexism, ageisim, ableism, gender identity and cultural differences. Over the years, ATP has reached thousands of students, staff and faculty on the UW-L campus, as well as a wide variety of audiences in La Crosse and the surrounding region.
ATP representatives will receive the award from the leadership of both the State Council and OSER at a ceremony Thursday, Nov. 12, in Madison. Gov. Jim Doyle has been invited to attend the ceremony.
