A variety of new sounds — and sights — make up the annual new music festival at UW-La Crosse.
The 2016 La Crosse New Music Festival runs Tuesday, Nov. 8-Thursday, Nov. 10. Concerts will be held each evening at 7:30 in Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts.
This year the festival showcases the talents of Ted Moore who specializes in interactive collaborations with instruments, video and electronics.
Other ensembles and performers include the La Crosse Chamber Choral, UWL Women’s Chorus and Brass Quintet, cellist Craig Hultgren, James Bohn and more.
All concerts are free and open to the public. The festival is sponsored by the UWL Department of Music, with the support from the College of Liberal Studies, School of Arts and Communication, and the Wisconsin Alliance for Composers.
