Symposium focuses on operations and economics of competitive sports teams.
The UWL community will get an inside look at how competitive sports teams operate off the field during a UWL event Monday, April 11.
The Symposium on Operations and Economics of Competitive Sports Teams will feature speakers from local and national organizations, including the NCAA. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. in the Brian and Lori Hesprich Auditorium, Graff Main Hall.
“Sports create a nice environment to teach students about economics,” says Assistant Economics Professor Adam Hoffer. “It’s full of examples and students are often already interested in it.”
