Seven teams baked cookies to garner the "Golden Spatula" award and raised $475 for a student scholarship at this year's Organization for Campus Women Cook-IE OFF fundraiser.
Seven teams baked cookies to garner the "Golden Spatula" award and raised $475 for a student scholarship at this year's Organization for Campus Women Cook-IE OFF fundraiser.
Team leaders sold tickets for $5 each to those who wanted to help judge the contest. Judges sampled cookies from each of the teams, voted on their top choice and competed in a raffle for door prizes.
This year's award-winning team was from the College of Business Administration. The prize-winning cookie: Chocolaty Butter Awesome Cookie, also known as Islerice.
Karla Stanek, last year's winner, passed off the Golden Spatula to this year's winning team leader, Betsy Knowles, and baker, Martina J. Skobic.
