UWL’s SummerStage brings the music of Elvis to theater.
Iconic music from the King of Rock and Roll is heading to Toland Theatre on the UWL campus in the SummerStage production of “All Shook Up.”
“It’s a comedy musical with all Elvis music,” says Avi Maltinski, who’s playing Natalie. “ The show is about love — everybody falls in love. People fall in love with different people all the time. It’s a blast.”
Community effort
The show features students from UWL, Western Technical College, Viterbo University and the community. “It’s like live theatre,” says Mitchell Grey, who’s playing Chad. “Whenever you go into a new show, you’ll work with new, real people. It’s a great experience.”
