The Many Moccasins Dance Troupe will bring Native American dance to UW-La Crosse. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition.
For more than 14 years, the Many Moccasins Dance Troupe from Winnebago, Nebraska, has shared stories of Native American dance. The troupe is named from the concept that all tribal nations have their own unique way of making moccasins. The group represents a number of tribes. The dancers will perform a combination of new and more contemporary dances while promoting and educating about the Native American way of life.
