UW System website and hotline for anonymously reporting waste
The UW System is launching a new UW System website and hotline for the anonymous reporting of waste, unethical activity and misconduct. The initiative was approved by the Board of Regents late last year. Listen to the message from UW System President Ray Cross about the new hotline and website.West Chiller Plant utility work May 18
As part of the West Chiller Plant Construction, the area south of Wentz Hall from Murphy Library to Parking Lot R-1 will be fenced off to install utility connections. The contractor will begin setting up fencing for the work Monday, May 18. A retirement celebration for Pam Glasshoff, International Education, will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, May 22, in 1209 Centennial Hall. Glasshoff started in the Counseling and Testing Center in June 1974; she transferred to the Academic Skills Center from 1975-1978 when she left to raise her four children. She started working again in 1986 with the Department of Health and Social Services in La Crosse until 1991. In January 1992, she returned to UW-L in the Office of International Education. In her retirement, she plans on spending time with her six grandchildren, family and friends; traveling; working on projects around the house and yard and enjoying the outdoors walking, kayaking, biking, camping and swimming. Join Glasshoff in celebrating her retirement. Light refreshments will be provided. Her final day at UW-L is May 29,Kickoff meeting: Freshman Registration & Family Orientation June 5
The Admissions Office will hold a kickoff meeting for Freshman Registration & Family Orientation at 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, in 140 Cowley Hall. Anyone involved with Freshman Registration & Family Orientation is welcome to attend.
