Parking details for those who will be visiting campus on Thursday, July 2.
UW-La Crosse has released parking details for those who will be visiting campus on Thursday, July 2.
Travel to campus:
Entrance to the campus from the south along Main or State streets will be the most convenient during the day. Travel along La Crosse Street will be affected with changes to normal traffic routes including detours and delays.
The main entrance to the event will be on the south side (Badger Street) entrance of the Recreational Eagle Center. This coincides with the most convenient parking that is on the south side of campus. All UWL parking lots are open to the public free of charge on Thursday, July 2.
Handicap parking:
Handicap parking will be available in the Recreational Eagle Center parking lot, which is Lot C-7. Those wishing to make use of this lot should enter from La Crosse Street where their vehicle will be cleared. Due to the extra time needed for this process these, guests must be parked and in the venue no later than 12:15 p.m.
General Parking:
Parking will be free on Thursday, July 2, and visitors should park in UWL lots numbered C-1, C-2, C-3 C-8, C-9, C-10, C-11 and R-1. These lots will give those attending the most convenient access to the event in order to avoid delays.
Some parking lots and streets near the Recreational Eagle Center will be closed and should be avoided.
