Chili cook-off to support local organizations

Ten challengers will compete in the 2012 Coulee Region Chili Challenge from 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Eagle’s Nest, 1914 Campbell Road.

Chili with blue ribbon. UW-L students will offer a bowl of chili for a good cause, just in time as the weather turns cooler. Ten challengers will compete in the 2012 Coulee Region Chili Challenge from 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Eagle’s Nest, 1914 Campbell Road. The chili challengers will represent the university community groups, such as the UW-L track team and the Vanguards. Admission is $5 a person and includes chili tasting and ranking. The event is open to the public. All proceeds will benefit the Coulee Region Humane Society and R-A-Q, a student-run radio station.
