Graduation & Farewell Celebration
Our graduation event is something we look forward to each semester to celebrate all the graduating international students, graduating study abroad/away students, departing exchange students, and departing international scholars. This fall 2025 at our event we celebrated 68 graduating or departing UWL members.
- 46 graduating study abroad alumni students that had the opportunity to study abroad in places like Spain, Japan, Italy, Ireland, Slovakia, and many other destinations during their time at UWL.
- 7 students graduating are international students from Malaysia, Spain, Nepal, Myanmar, and France who chose UWL for their degrees.
- 14 exchange students and 1 visiting scholar who chose La Crosse as their home away from home for a semester will also be departing.
This event was full of great conversations, memories, and most importantly amazing students & scholars! We are so proud of every single individual that took the leap to go abroad and study in a new place, whether it was for a few weeks, a few months or a few years. Congratulations and farewell to you all!
