Award-winning journalist Sonia Nazario will speak at UW-La Crosse as part of its annual common book series.
Nazario captures the journey of a young Honduran boy and his desire to reunite with his mother in her Pulitzer Prize winning book, “Enrique’s Journey.” Nazario will speak about the book at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in Valhalla, Cartwright–Gunning Addition.
Tickets are free for UW-L students and $5 for others. Ticket prices increase $2 on the day of the event. UW-L students must present their student IDs before Oct. 24 to receive a free ticket; cost will be $2 day of the event for UW-L students.
