Student documents research and travels in Nepal
UWL student Aaron Christensen recently made the trip to Nepal to take part in environmental research.
Christensen, along with UWL student Kyle Zerbian, joined UWL Assistant Professor Niti Mishra on the trip to use unmanned aerial systems (drones) to take pictures and map out glacier movement. The purpose of the experiment was to see how climate change impacts the environment and specifically glaciers over time.
Along with conducting research, Christensen also had the chance to explore Nepal. Using a camera provided by the UWL Geography and Earth Science's department, he documented his research and time spent abroad.
