In our diverse and rich world, it is important to explore global, cultural and ethical contexts of the death, dying and grief experience among dying persons, family members, healthcare providers and within support circles and systems.

2023 Conference topics will explore:

  • Globally, what we are seeing with end of life care and grief support.
  • How cultural practices impact our expieriences with death, dying, loss, and grief.
  • How we navigate ethical issues relating to the grieving process, the end of life experience, and support & care.
  • How global, cultural, and ethical contexts—individually or together—shape our understanding of the dying and grieving experience.
