Honors Recital

On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Department of Music will present performances by eight outstanding students. The annual Honors Recital will take place in Annett Recital Hall at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Truman T. Lowe Center for the Arts with a reception to follow.

The featured students that will be recognized for their achievements in the Music Department are:

  • Ann David, flute, from Eau Claire, WI
  • Maggie Ferrando, saxophone, from Ashland, WI
  • Hannah Friesner, soprano, from Muskego, WI
  • Dillon Koestler, baritone, from Fennimore, WI
  • Andrew McDonald, piano from La Crosse, WI
  • William Murphy, piano, from Pulaski, WI
  • Abigail Sasse, percussion, from Platteville, WI
  • Mackenzie Taylor, flute, from Chilton, WI

The Department of Music will also recognize this year’s recipients of the Thomas Annett Outstanding Senior in Music Award:

  • Hunter Adams, Music Performance minor, from Bruce, WI
  • Cassie Davis, Music Performance minor, from Minneapolis, MN
  • Mackenzie Taylor, Music Major-Performance emphasis, from Chilton, WI
