Brief Bites with Career Services

Brief career conversations with career services and MSS

Come join us in the Multicultural Student Services lounge on Mondays throughout the semester from 4:00pm- 5:00pm! 

Brief Bites with Career Services is a series of brief casual career conversations over snacks and hot chocolate/tea. Drop-in any time during that hour. Siri Flores (career services intern) and career advisors will be available to answer your questions about the career topic of the day, share resources, and lead an interactive activity. We look forward to seeing you there!

2/20 - Resume Refresh: We'll get your resume ready for the Career Fair on 2/22/2023!

3/6 - Woo the Interview: Practice makes perfect! We'll tackle those tough interview questions so you can woo the interviewer! Pelli Lee, UWL alum and RTP Company recruiter, will be joining us to share interviewing tips.

3/27 - Handshake: Come learn about Handshake and some hidden features!

4/10 - LinkedIn: Get linked with LinkedIn and take a new profile pic in the Academic Advising Center & Career Services office (1209 Centennial Hall). Pelli Lee will be returning to share a recruiters view of LinkedIn & networking tips.

4/24 - The Power of Your Story: We'll reflect on how our identity and story can be a strength in the workplace!
