English Department William J. and Yvonne M. Hyde Colloquium Series

The What, Where, and How of English Department Messaging

Considering (mostly) positive national research on the value of English Studies to graduates’ professional and personal lives, and drawing from recent on-campus conversations with advisors, students, and other stakeholders, how can we in the English Department best promote our offerings? What are our most persuasive strategies? And where should we direct our efforts? This workshop invites everyone from the English Department to consider these questions, and to help develop coordinated messaging strategies to draw students to our classes.
