Session 1 of 4

Participants will be introduced to the definition of compassion and how it differs from empathy and simple kindness, practice short awareness and compassion meditations, and become aware of how mindfulness techniques for becoming more aware of suffering and compassion. This overview of compassion is based on research in compassion science, including current understandings of neuroscience, positive psychology, and organizational psychology.
