A Workshop for First-Year Writers

No matter your major, writing will be part of your college experience, but it’s not always the same as what you did in high school. So, what do professors expect? Join Writing Center mentors for a hands-on, conversational workshop where you’ll get answers to the most common writing questions, hear real advice from experienced tutors, and learn about campus and online resources that can help you succeed.

Whether you're in ENG 100, ENG 110, or any writing-heavy course, this is your chance to get practical tips, insider strategies, and a clearer picture of what college writing is all about. And there’s snacks. See you there!
