River Seminar Series

We will be having our next seminar event on Tuesday,  December 9 from 2:30-3:30 pm at the UWL Student Union Theatre. The UWL Freshwater Ecology and Management Club is organizing the monthly events and the River Studies Center is providing free refreshments (cookies, etc.). 
 
This event’s speakers will be Traci Dubose and Matthew Meulemans from the USGS Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center. Traci will be discussing "Native freshwater mussel growth potential informs our understanding of mussel resiliency in the Upper Mississippi River." Matthew's presentation will be "Endangered and invasive mussel work at the Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center."

Instructors: Please considering offering extra credit for students that attend these seminars. A flyer is attached for you to share.
