Join Fraternity & Sorority Life

Opportunities to get involved & find community!

Looking for a way to get involved, meet new people, and make the most of your UWL experience? Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) is excited to welcome new Eagles with several opportunities to connect during New Student Orientation and throughout the first weeks of the semester.

Kick off the semester with FSL Bingo on Wednesday, September 3, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. in the E-Café, where you can meet current members, win prizes, and learn more about the fraternity and sorority experience at UWL. Then, join us for Yard Games on Thursday, September 4, from 4:30–7:00 p.m. on Eagle Field for an evening of friendly competition, outdoor fun, and conversation with members from each chapter.

You can also connect with Fraternity & Sorority Life at Eagle Fest and the Involvement Fair, where chapter members will be available to answer questions, share their experiences, and help you explore whether FSL is the right fit for you.

Students interested in joining a sorority can participate in Primary Sorority Recruitment, which begins September 16. Those interested in fraternity membership can learn more during Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity Recruitment, taking place September 29 through October 2.

This fall also marks an exciting time for fraternity life at UWL. Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity is establishing a new chapter on campus and is seeking students to become members of its Founding Class. Recruitment will take place October 5 through November 2, offering students a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a new fraternity at UWL and leave a lasting legacy.

Fraternity & Sorority Life at UWL offers students the opportunity to build lifelong friendships, develop leadership skills, give back to the community, and make a meaningful impact on campus. During the 2025–2026 academic year, UWL fraternities and sororities contributed more than $25,600 to philanthropic causes and completed over 3,600 hours of community service, demonstrating their commitment to serving both the campus and the greater La Crosse community.

Whether you're looking to expand your leadership skills, find a supportive community, or make a difference through service, Fraternity & Sorority Life has a place for you. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events this fall!
