WEA Trust to Exit Group Health Insurance Program

WEA Trust announced on June 1, 2022, that they will no longer offer health insurance after this year. All current WEA Trust network areas and offerings will no longer be available to members as of January 1, 2023.

ETF Update: GIB Approves Benefit Changes for Plan Year 2023

The Group Insurance Board has approved several health and pharmacy benefit changes for plan year 2023. The changes were recommended by the Department of Employee Trust Funds, based on feedback from members, health plans, and other stakeholders.

ETF: Annual Statement of Benefits now available

Your Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) Statement of Benefits as of January 1, 2022, is now available in the portal for UW System institutions or UW-Madison. To view your statement, launch the Benefit Information tile and click on the ETF WRS Statements of Benefits tab.

WRS-Single Payroll Transition Program

The WRS-Single Payroll Transition Program is available to eligible employees who are retiring between June 15, 2022 and February 15, 2025 and whose WRS reported earnings may be affected by the 2021 transition from a monthly to a biweekly payroll.
