2023 Pay Plan

In advance of the anticipated 2023 Pay Plan implementation this communication was created to confirm you have completed everything needed to meet the eligibility requirements for Pay Plan.  All elements must be completed before September 1, 2023. 

Pay Plan is the University System’s annual merit increase to employee base pay.  It is a process which requires legislative approval with final approval by the Joint Committee on Employee Relations.   

It is anticipated that the Joint Committee on Employee Relations will review a request for approval of a 4% Pay Plan increase for the UW System with a retroactive effective date of July 2, 2023.  Pay Plan would be distributed to UWL employees on the basis of merit and solid performance.  As of August 17, 2023, the anticipated July 2, 2023, Pay Plan has not been approved by the Joint Committee on Employee Relations.
