Dick Hebert, ’83, retired from the Chippewa Falls Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department in March after a nearly four-decade career. “Parks and recreation is not for everybody,” he says. “It’s a lot of work, and occasionally, you have to work nights and weekends. But I really enjoyed making the community I grew up in a better place to live, work and play.”
