Don't forget: Employee Enrichment Day is Tuesday, July 21

[caption id="attachment_41716" align="alignright" width="239"]Portrait of Alonzo Kelly Alonzo Kelly[/caption] The second "Employee Enrichment Day" runs Tuesday, July 21. The day, designed to help employees get ahead at work and home, is free and open to all. The day kicks off with a short morning walk at 7 a.m. by Hoeschler Tower. This year’s keynote presentation features motivational speaker Alonzo Kelly at 9 a.m. with “Keeping Your Sanity After Embracing Change: How losing control doesn’t require us to lose ourselves in the process.” Presentations follow throughout the morning, with most repeated in the afternoon, allowing for flexibility in schedules. All of the events will be held in Centennial Hall, unless noted. You can see all session options at: http://www.uwlax.edu/livemaroon/employee-enrichment-day/. Registration is not required, so you may attend even if you didn't register. Employee Enrichment Day is funded by university staff and academic staff development grants. It is organized by the following: Rachel Berry, Amanda Goodenough, Tammy Haakenson, Carmen Hetzel, Brad Quarberg, Kathy Ring, Terry Stika, Sheila Wirkus and Becky Yoshizumi.

Travel goes paperless with e-reimbursement Sept. 1

Travel goes paperless Comm 07.15The E-Reimbursement Expense Module is a web-based system used to reimburse UWL employees and non-employees for expenses incurred while traveling or conducting business for the university. Paperwork and approvals are done in the Expense Module through data entry, attachments and an automated workflow process. Attend the Traveler and Travel Approver training Tuesday, Aug. 11 and Wednesday, Aug. 12, in 1404 Centennial Hall. Business Services along with UW System employees will lead the training and answer any questions. Following is the training schedule: 1 p.m. Aug. 11 – Travelers and alternates 3 p.m. Aug. 11 – Travel approvers 8 a.m. Aug. 12 – Travelers and alternates 10 a.m. Aug. 12 – Travel approvers For more information visit the Accounts Payable website.
