UPDATED: Special weather statement for Thursday, Feb. 20: Classes cancelled at noon

All afternoon and evening classes are cancelled. Business offices may remain open. Please contact to verify.

UPDATE as of 9:30 a.m.:

Due to a significant change in the weather forecast, it appears that it will rain most of the day with snow not falling until 5pm or later. We are modifying the university closure as follows:
  • Afternoon and evening classes will remain cancelled.
  • Business offices may remain open. Please contact the individual office to verify its status before making a visit.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE from the Chancellor:

Dear students and colleagues: Due to forecasts for heavy snow beginning Thursday, Feb. 20, in the early afternoon we are closing our campus at noon. All afternoon and evening classes are cancelled and business offices will be closed. The University will continue to provide essential services such as police, facilities and dining. Please note that all classes and regular operations will be held before noon, and classes that are scheduled to run past 12 p.m. should end at noon. Please take care during this dangerous storm. We plan to be back to normal operations and classes on Friday.
