UWL to host Board of Regents meeting July 6-7
This summer, the spotlight will shine on UW-La Crosse as the UW System Board of Regents returns to campus for the first time since 2018.
UWL will host the Board of Regents meeting July 6-7 — an opportunity to showcase the people, programs and partnerships that help fuel UWL’s success.
Presentations by UWL leadership will highlight several initiatives and achievements, including:
- The Community Engaged Learning program, which matches local businesses and organizations with faculty experts seeking real-world experiences for their students
- The recent completion of the UWL Fieldhouse, a state-of-the-art, $49 million facility that is already being described as a game-changer
- Impactful partnerships with Kwik Trip, JF Brennan Company, Mayo Clinic Health System and other local organizations
- UWL’s ability to maintain stable enrollment — including record-setting first-year classes — at a time when many universities are experiencing declines
