It was February 1998 when Janie Morgan attended her first UWL political science alumni reception in Madison.
Last Wednesday, Feb. 7, Morgan, ’85 & ’86, was honored for making the next 20 annual events — and for her two decades of service to UW-La Crosse alumni. State Sen. Jennifer Shilling awarded a “Citation of Appreciation” to Morgan for 20 years of “dedication and service to UWL alumni, current students and the campus community as Executive Director of the Alumni Association.”
Nearly 80 alumni and friends attended the Alumni Association’s most popular and longest-running reception, held at the Park Hotel on the Capitol Square. The day in Madison also featured alumni working in the capitol holding networking sessions with current UWL political science and public administration students.
