Award winner at the International Banquet

Altman, Wimberly, and International Student Excellence/Internationalization Awards

International Education & Engagement is now seeking nominations for deserving candidates for the Altman, Wimberly, and International Student Excellence/Internationalization awards that will be presented at the 61st annual International Banquet on April 18th.

Altman Award:  Recognizes outstanding contributions to the advancement of international education at UW-La Crosse in three categories:

  • Leadership (UWL faculty/staff/department)
  • University Service (UWL faculty/staff/department)
  • Community Service (UWL affiliated or community member)

Wimberly Award: Recognizes an outstanding UWL/community individual or organization that has contributed to the development of long-term excellence in international programming at UW-La Crosse.

If you think you know someone who fits into one of these categories for the Altman or Wimberly awards, you can nominate deserving candidates here.

The International Student Academic Excellence/Internationalization award recognizes one outstanding international student for academic achievement and contributions to the internationalization of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. This award is only offered to graduating international students that have met all graduation requirements.
