Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages program
Undergrad minorAre you passionate about helping multilingual students succeed?
UW-La Crosse offers a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) minor that prepares you to teach English both in the U.S. and abroad. You’ll gain the essential knowledge and hands-on experience to effectively teach English to non-native speakers in diverse educational settings.
The TESOL program at UWL prepared me to teach multilingual learners by providing a strong foundation in language acquisition and hands-on experience. It also opened doors to international teaching. Since graduating, I’ve taught in Thailand, Honduras, and South Korea, confidently supporting multilingual learners in their language development.
