Mitchell Hall Climbing Wall - Directions and Parking
Mitchell Climbing Wall Location:
The Mitchell Hall Climbing Wall is located in the field house. Use the main door off Pine Street to enter Mitchell Hall. The field house can be found by following the hallway left of the entrance. The climbing wall is at the south end of the field house.
Parking:
On street parking is available on Pine Street or off State Street.
Directions To Mitchell Hall:
From the west (I-90):
Exit Interstate I-90 at Exit 3 onto US 53 South. Drive 3.9 miles and turn left on La Crosse Street; continue for 1.1 miles and turn right on East Avenue to Campus. At the stop sign turn left on to Pine Street. Mitchell Hall is located on the right side of the street.
From the north (Hwy. 53):
If traveling south on Highway 53 (go over I-90 at Exit 4). Follow Highway 157 to Highway 16. Turn right on Highway 16. Drive 3.5 miles and turn right on La Crosse Street and then left on East Avenue to campus.
From the east (I-90):
Travelers heading west to La Crosse on Interstate I-90 exit at Onalaska-La Crosse Highway 16 (Exit 5). Turn left onto Highway 16. Drive 4.8 miles and right on La Crosse Street and then left on East Avenue to campus. At the stop sign turn left on to Pine Street. Mitchell Hall is located on the right side of the street.
From the south:
Highway 14, 61, and 35 enter the city on the south. Follow the green "UW-La Crosse" signs north on Losey Boulevard to Highway 16 (3.0 miles). Turn left on La Crosse Street and then left on East Avenue to campus. At the stop sign turn left on to Pine Street. Mitchell Hall is located on the right side of the street.
Outdoor Ropes Course - Directions and Parking
Parking:
Parking in the lot requires a parking permit which can be obtained from the ESS/Adventure Program staff on site for $2.00 per vehicle. Parking is also available on East Ave for no fee.
Directions:
Once in La Crosse...Turn off La Crosse St. onto East Ave. (Away from campus). At the T-intersection (in front of the dog park) turn left to the parking lot. Park along the tree line as close to the baseball field as possible. The Ropes Course is located near the tree line behind the baseball field.
From the west (I-90):
Exit Interstate I-90 at Exit 3 onto US 53 South. Drive 3.9 miles and turn left on La Crosse Street; continue for 1.1 miles and turn left on East Avenue.
From the north (Hwy. 53):
If traveling south on Highway 53 (go over I-90 at Exit 4). Follow Highway 157 to Highway 16. Turn right on Highway 16. Drive 3.5 miles and turn right on La Crosse Street and then right on East Avenue.
From the east (I-90):
