Public Speaking Competition Finals

The Communication Studies Department is excited to announce the finalists for the Public Speaking Competition!  These students came from a pool of over 2000 students in CST 110 from Spring or Fall 2016.  They were successful in two previous rounds, and present the best of the persuasive speeches.

 You can see these students in the final round during the Creative Imperatives Conference:

Alex Mason – The importance of limiting sugar consumption

Josie Olson – Getting involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters

Madison Roy – Student Loans and Scholarships

Emma Johnson – Female Leadership in Business and Politics

Courtney Baker – The Dangers of Driving in the Rain

 

The final round of the Public Speaking Competition will be 4:00pm on Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Centennial 1400.  All are welcome – please join us!
