La Crosse Mayor's Neighborhood Expo

Living Well in the City: Together We Can!

Mayor Tim Kabat invites members of the La Crosse community to the 4th Annual La Crosse Mayor’s Neighborhood Expo.

Since 2014, the La Crosse Mayor’s Neighborhood Expo has been dedicated to creating a stronger community and brighter future for our neighborhoods. The theme “Living Well in the City: Together We Can!” is an opportunity to explore strategies for creating a healthy community where all residents can live a healthy, happy and productive life. Local organizations and businesses will be on hand to showcase their services including how we can improve our lives, keep our neighborhoods safe and clean, and have fun bettering our overall community. It’s an opportunity to recognize the individuals and organizations who have dedicated so much to our neighborhoods. Individuals also have the chance to learn more about the neighborhoods in which they live or work.

In addition, the Expo will include the following breakout sessions: “Eating Well at School” Coulee Region Farm2School, “Doin’ That La Crosse Walk-About Thing!” presented by Matthew Christen, Urban Connections, LLC, “Components of a Livable Community for All Ages” presented by Mariann Muzzi, AARP Wisconsin, and “Third Places: The Key to Building Community in La Crosse” presented by Rick Kyte, Viterbo University.

For more information on this year’s Expo or if you are interested in participating as an exhibitor, please email mayorsconference@cityoflacrosse.org or call 608-789-7500.
