Introduction to the Gottman Method of Relationship Therapy

Join us for a dynamic workshop based on Dr. John Gottman’s 45 years of groundbreaking relationship research. Together, he and his partner Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman developed the internationally acclaimed method of couple therapy, The Sound Relationship House Theory.

You will:

  • Explore research findings, philosophy, assessment processes, and interventions forming The Gottman Method
  • Summarize the steps in the assessment process
  • Learn interventions that promote friendship, intimacy, and romance
  • Discover interventions that help couples manage conflict
  • Understand the 7 principles that make marriage work
