Awareness through Performance: Fighting for Justice

Campus Climate invites you to join the ATP conversation: Fighting for Justice on Monday, September 4. Shows take place at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

As part of UWL’s New Student Orientation and Welcome Week activities, some of the intended outcomes of this fall's production of Awareness through Performance are:

  • Increased social awareness of one’s own biases, prejudices, and cultural differences;
  • Enhanced social responsibility for challenging the isms that support ignorance, inequity, intolerance, and hate;
  • Greater acceptance for difficult dialogue that will aid in the journey towards deeper understanding;
  • Empowered community members who will recognize and take a stance against unhealthy behaviors, divisive attitudes, and unjust situations.
Please note: Due to scheduling and staffing issues, there will be no encore performance this semester.
