"Love Embraces All", a performance and conversation with Amirah Sackett creator of "We're Muslim, Don't Panic"

Internationally recognized artist, Amirah Sackett, explores and embodies her Muslim-American identity through combining hip-hop movement and Islamic culture.  Widely known for the choreography and performance ensemble she created, "We're Muslim, Don't Panic," Amirah will share her latest solo work, "Love Embraces All' based off the poetry of 13th Century Islamic scholar and poet, Rumi, and engage the audience in an open dialogue after the performance.
