Me Too Movement, Take Back the Night March

We, UW-L Education students are “Me Too” advocate/supporters. We are looking for like minded individuals to participate in a “Take Back the Night March” on the evening of Dec. 14th at 6. Presently, we are building a “Caterpillar.” Our bug is being made of donated bed sheets and PVC tubing for the skeleton. Our design is to attract attention and serve as a therapeutic vehicle for those concerned with sexual harassment/abuse. Interested parties may participate by decorating a bed sheet (appropriately themed), which we will attach to our bug, and/or attending the public march. Our mission is to keep the current focus of sexual abuse in the public eye, and in student’s minds. Our intention is to have news coverage, interviews and public spectacle; hence, our call to all who would stand with us. We desire to send a message to our community with an impressive show of numbers come the 14th. Finally, We have set up a Facebook page at UW-L Me 2 Movement should you wish to join.
