USC Showcase: Student Union

Employees invited to learn about The U, Student Union

All UWL employees are invited to the University Staff Council (USC) program, “USC Showcase:  Student Union,” from 2:30 - 4 pm, Wednesday, March 28, in the Union Theatre, lower level. One of the goals of the program is to help UWL employees become more familiar with student union resources that can benefit them both professionally and personally. The program will focus on the various units within The U and will include a welcome from the Union Director, Larry Ringgenberg, and a very brief presentation from the following areas: Admissions, ID Card Office, UW Credit Union, University Bookstore/Textbook Rental, University Reservations, the COVE organizations area, University Dining, and an overview of some of the other services and amenities available.

The program begins with refreshments and networking from 2:30 to 3:00, continues with a 20-minute program that provides overviews of the different units within The U, and finishes with tours and/or informational stations within the building.

The event is the second in a series of “USC Showcase” programs that are intended to bring employees together to network and learn more about UWL.
