Celebrate Small Business 2018

The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center at UW-La Crosse (UWL SBDC) will be celebrating small businesses that started in the Coulee Region in 2017 during our inaugural Celebrate Small Business event, to be held Tuesday, May 15th at the UWL Student Union. Community supporters and organizations funding small businesses, pursuant to its Wisconsin Small Business Funder initiative, also will be recognized. The event is open to the public. Area businesses, those planning on starting a small business, and anyone involved in economic development is encouraged to attend.

Mark Lange, Executive Director, Division for Business and Entrepreneurship at UW-Extension, will address The Business Dynamics Driving Coulee Region Economic Activity, and State Representative Jill Billings will present her findings on State of Small Business in Wisconsin and our Region.

Cost is $25 and pre-registration is required. The registration deadline is Friday, May 11. Seating is limited. Online registration is available at https://celebratesmallbusiness2018.eventbrite.com.  Proceeds from this event will be used to provide support for area small businesses and outreach.
